A few years ago, while cleaning out my garage, I found a little stuffed animal my mother had knitted for me out of yarn. She made it with her own hands, stitch by stitch, just for me.

Decades have passed, but every time I look at it, I can still feel her love in it. It was never about how much it cost. It was about the time, the care and the heart she put into making it for me.

That moment changed how I think about gifts. A gift's real value isn't its price. It's the feeling behind it, and the person who chose it for you.

That is why I started Slapjoy: to help everyone give gifts that carry that same feeling.
